How to use this calculator
- Enter the amount invested, the period, the expected return and your slab rate.
- Choose the investment mode and the regime to match your situation.
- Read the future value, the tax on gains and the tax saved by the deduction in the result.
Mutual fund returns are not fixed, and ELSS has a lock-in; the deduction is available under the old regime.
The result is an estimate for the figures you enter. It is not a filed return, a certificate or professional advice. Rates, thresholds and section numbers change with each Finance Act, and the Income-tax Act, 2025 applies from 1 April 2026 with new section and form numbers.
