How to use this calculator
- Enter your estimated tax liability, the dates and amounts of payments made and the filing date.
- Choose the due dates and the assessment year to match your situation.
- Read the instalment schedule, the shortfall and the interest by section in the result.
Interest is estimated month by month; actual interest depends on the exact dates of payment and the return filed.
The result is an estimate for the figures you enter. It is not a filed return, a certificate or professional advice. Rates, thresholds and section numbers change with each Finance Act, and the Income-tax Act, 2025 applies from 1 April 2026 with new section and form numbers.
