How to use this calculator
- Enter the foreign income, the foreign tax paid and the Indian tax on that income.
- Choose the country and the type of income to match your situation.
- Read the credit allowed and the excess foreign tax that is not allowed in the result.
Form 67 must be filed before the return and the amount must be converted at the prescribed rate.
The result is an estimate for the figures you enter. It is not a filed return, a certificate or professional advice. Rates, thresholds and section numbers change with each Finance Act, and the Income-tax Act, 2025 applies from 1 April 2026 with new section and form numbers.
